DAY 01: Arrive in Tokyo

Arriving in Tokyo by your choice of flight, you will be met by a representative from UTS who will assist you with boarding the airport limousine bus to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Tokyo.

DAY 04: Tokyo - Kamakura - Tokyo

After breakfast, drive to Kamakura, the first Shogunate's capital. Visit the Hase Kannon Temple, Kotokuin Temple with Daibutsu, the Tsurugoaka Hachimangu Shrine and KIomachi-dori, before returning to your hotel in Tokyo.
Overnight in Tokyo.

DAY 07: Toba - Ise - Kyoto

Visit Mikimoto Pearl Island, where a museum reveals the whole pearl process. Women divers (ama) are on hand to demonstrate their skills.On to Ise-jingu, Japan's most sacred Shinto shrine. Later transfer to Kyoto for overnight.
Overnight in Kyoto.

DAY 08: Kyoto

Kyoto is a city that exudes the very essence of Japanese culture. The capital for more than a thousand years, it is filled with many of the country’s oldest and most revered temples and shrines and boasts no fewer than 17 World Heritage Sites.
On this full day tour you will visit the famous Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Kiyomizu Temple, Ryoanji Temple and Nijo Castle.
Overnight in Kyoto.

DAY 02: Tokyo

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of unforgettable sightseeing that includes the Tokyo Tower, the traditional tea ceremony, the Japanese “Capitol” and the Imperial Palace Plaza. Then a river cruise, onwards to Asakusa Kannon Temple. Drive through the famous Ginza shopping area.

DAY 05: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone

This morning after breakfast, Travel by coach halfway up japan’s highest mountain “Mt Fuji”, to experience a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 metres.

In the afternoon, proceed to Hakone Ropeway, a perfect way for enjoying Hakone's scenic panorama. On clear days, majestic Mount Fuji is visible, and the steam rising from the volcanic "Jigokudani" at Owakudani down below adds to the thrill. Visit Owakudani Valley and then a cruise on board a pirate ship on Lake Ashi.
Overnight in Hakone.

DAY 09: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

This morning half-day walking tour of Nara, the 8th century capital of Japan and a rich repository of Japanese culture. Visit the gigantic bronze Buddha of the Todai-Ji (Great Eastern Temple), the world’s largest wooden building and a centre of worship for centuries, Kofuku-ji Temple and take a stroll through the Deer Park.
Return back to Kyoto for overnight..

DAY 03: Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo

After breakfast, a small city at the entrance to the national park. The highlight here is the worldfamous Toshogu Shrine, the mausoleum of the first Tokugawa Shogun. It's a gorgeous complex of colorful structures featuring the superb craftsmanship of Japan's 17th-century artisans.Then a drive up the Irohazaka Driveway with 20 hairpin curves.See Lake Chuzenji, and Kegon waterfall. Return back to Tokyo. Evening free at leisure.
Overnight in Tokyo.

DAY 06: Hakone - Nagoya - Toba

Travel to Nagoya by bullet train. See the Toyota Museum.
Later to Nagoya Castle, before transferring to Nagoya Station to board the train for Toba.
Overnight in Toba.

DAY 10: Kyoto - Tokyo

Time at leisure until departure by bullet train to Tokyo. A hotel transfer on arrival. Rest of the day free for last minute shopping on your own.
Overnight in Tokyo.

DAY 11: Tokyo - Depart Tokyo

Free until departure. Transfer to Narita Airport by Airport limousine bus to catch your flight to onward destination.
